Training Available for External Lab Equipment
The Lab Equipment are part of the MiRC. These equipment are placed outside the clean room (as they do not require a clean room facility) and are openly available to all users. They are available to use 24/7 with continuous user support and maintenance provided.
As you know we are an open research facility and we always welcome new researchers. At MiRC we provide you with the best expertise, infrastructure, facilities, teaming environments and service.
One does not need to be a clean room user, nor become one in order to access these tools.
To use these tools you just need to
- request authorization access if not a clean room user
- take up the individual training sessions
- pass the hands on test (check off)
- get a user account set up
- And get access!
A brief description of the lab equipment is available on this page. Extensive training sessions are provided on each of these tools. For any questions regarding a particular pieces of equipment, email the trainers using the email addresses provided on the lab equipment page.
To request training, use the "Email Trainers" link on the particular piece of equipment. Please specify that you are requesting training as a lab user/new user and provide times that you are available. You may also look through our currently scheduled classes to see if any fit your time and then email the trainer that you like to participate in the class.
